The activities from the “Programa Naturaleza 2006” ( 2006 Nature Programme) start on the 15^th of January with Cabo de Gata hill walking and two expeditions in Sierra Nevada

The Municipal Sports Organization of Almería City Council starts the new year activities with a hill walking to Cabo de Gata and two skiing-expeditions in Sierra Nevada which form part of the “Programa Naturaleza 2006”.

On Sunday the 15^th of January, a hill walking trip for children between San José and Los Genoveses beach is going to be celebrated. This trip goes through the whole Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. It is considered as an easy itinerary constituted with tracks and paths and estimated to be covered in four hours. It starts at nine a.m. from the Maestro Padilla Municipal Auditorium.
