The General Management Board of the Coasts Ministry of Environment has given the technical assistance works for the phrasing of the project of Restoration and protection of the coast of La Entrevista beach, in the municipal area of Pulp.
This project affects the coastal area situated between the urban centres Pozo del Esparto and San Juan de Los Terreros-Calarreona, with a length of 3 kilometres.
The Technical Assistance will establish the guidelines for the implementation of the mentioned project, which will allow the creation of a 7 m. wide seafront for pedestrian use and full equipped. The new seafront will join the already built Pozo del Esparto and San Juan de Los Terrenos-Calarreona.
The technical assistance has been given to the company KV Consultores de ingeniera, proyectos y obras, S.L. with a budget of 63.161,58 and a construction period of 9 months.

Last weekend Aguadulce and Roquetas beaches have lived a special environment with an activity which the Culture Council has started. It consists of taking science to the beach in a new way: entertaining and enjoying. There were organized various activities for people of all ages for making them think about interesting problems they presented them.
The promenades of Aguadulce on Saturday and of Roquetas on Sunday were the scenario of this activity: Playing with science.

The turtle Boba returned to its habitat.
The animal was brought back to the sea in Almeria, where it was rescued in 2002.
A protected marine turtle, of the Caretta Caretta specie, also known as Boba Turtle, was set free last Saturday in Zapillo Beach (Almera), totally recovered after his fin was amputated because of a wound caused by a fishing net.
According to the Conservation Programme Promar and Ecologistas en Accin manager, Francisco Toledano, a veterinarian team who has worked with the turtle boarded the turtle on a zodiac and they released him in the same area of the sea where he was rescued last 2002.
The last day in captivity the animals carers experienced with expectation and nervosity, although the veterinarians trust him to be able to live in his natural environment again without any problems.

In the Andalusian waters there have been counted 81 archeologic sites, with a cronology starting with the Early History until the Modern and Contemporanean History, and are distributed geographically as follows: Huelva (13), Cdiz (44), Mlaga (11), Granada (1), Almera (8), Jan (1), Crdoba (1) and Sevilla (2).

With respect to the first objective, there is already involved the cultural ministry for the inscription into the General Catalogue of the Historical Heritage in 53 arqueologic zones situated in waters of Andaluca, as well as in the declaration of other 32 zones of archeologic servitude.
The proliferation of the infrastructure workings that are affecting the sea ambience, the natural gas lines, commercial ports or maritime wind parks, incrementing with the touristic pressure that brings the construction of new sports harbours and the regeneration of the beaches, as well as the generalization of the diving sport has provoqued an increasing plundering over the sites.
If they are not establishing mechanism of control for this situation it will lead to a gradual loss of the water archeologic heritage. The foreseen declaration of the archeologic zones will suppose the application of a protective norm that establish, amongst other forms, that every working or removal of the terrain that is projected in the area declared as good cultural interest, will have to be authorized by the Administration. Before they give their approval, they can arrange the realization of the prospects and the archeological excavation.

The Delegation has granted the Golden shield of the Province as a posthumous title to Manolo Vzquez. Jos Aez Snchez, the president of the institution, will impose it on the widow of the bullfighter, Remedn Gago.

According to the promoting area of Almeria, The County Council has been attending from yesterday to the Bureau of Tourism of Lisboa (BTL), which celebrates its 18 edition.
Display stands sectors represent touristy accommodation, hotel industry services, touristy transport, touristy entertainment, spa/talasotherapy, active, ecological and wine tourism, technology applied to tourism, tourism industry services, congress and incentives.
Last edition of 2005, BTL registered a growth of 18% of visitors and a total of 18.200 professionals. This year it expected to have a total of 878 display stands from the five continents.

SAN JUAN DE TERREROS
Terreros is situated at only 8 km. far away from Aguilas. This tourist municipality has grown next to a small traditional sailor village, with new fitted-out cave-houses, and surrounded with quite and beautiful beaches. Its symbols is the castle, built in 1764 on an 150 metres altitude hills with goes into the sea creating two inlets. This is a good place to dominate the area from Cabo Cope to Castillo de Mesa de Roldn in Carboneras. There are two islands in front of these coast: Isla Negra and Isla de Terreros, both denominated as protected natural spaces.

The activities from the Programa Naturaleza 2006 ( 2006 Nature Programme) start on the 15th of January with Cabo de Gata hill walking and two expeditions in Sierra Nevada
The Municipal Sports Organization of Almera City Council starts the new year activities with a hill walking to Cabo de Gata and two skiing-expeditions in Sierra Nevada which form part of the Programa Naturaleza 2006.
On Sunday the 15th of January, a hill walking trip for children between San Jos and Los Genoveses beach is going to be celebrated. This trip goes through the whole Cabo de Gata-Njar Natural Park. It is considered as an easy itinerary constituted with tracks and paths and estimated to be covered in four hours. It starts at nine a.m. from the Maestro Padilla Municipal Auditorium.
LA ENVA GOLF COUNTRY CLUB
La Enva Golf Country Club is a golf course of 18 holes in La Envia Golf urbanization.
The golf course was designed by Francisco Mendoza, its route is along a valley between mountains in the west and the east protected from the wind, so there are optimal conditions to practise this sport.
The route has more than 5.700 metres and the 18 holes pass along a changeable relief, with several bunkers and lakes, which demands someone to do the best to pass them.
Cabo de Gata-Njar Natural park is the first maritime-terrestrial park and the one which has the biggest surface and ecologist importance of the whole area of the West Mediterranean sea in Europe.
Its coast is beautiful and has the best ecologic richness of the West Mediterranean. Its extension is of 38.000 has. Cabo de Gata Natural Park has become one of the natural jewels of Almeria, Andalusia and Spain.

The management and circulation system of the investigation UAL (University of Almera) scientific and technological offer group meets in the web page created by the OTRI of this University. It deals with an ambitious project which came into operation in May of this year, and which allows the researchers to share their discoveries with the rest of the society in a centralized way available in the following address www.ofertacientifica.ual.es
One aim of the scientific and technological offer web page among others is to make an easy consulting catalogue available to companies, including updated services which the University of Almera has at its disposal. A task that the Oficina de Transferencia de Resultados de la Investigacin has developed with the purposal to facilitate the rapprochement and the contact between the researchers and the companies, and, to strengthen through this elaborated tool the image of the researchers, promoting the jobs related with the I+D+i which offer a service to the society.
Writer Antonio Pieiro won, with his work La miel en los labios (Honey on lips), the poetry competition Jos Mara Antn Andrs, of the Casa de Melilla (Melilla House) in Almera.
The prize will make possible the introduction of the publication in the Antologa de los Premios Casa Melilla(Melilla House Awards Anthology), which is going to be published this year on the occasion of the Foundation of Almera 25th birthday.
Antonio Pieiro accumulates, with this distinction, a total of 15 awards during his whole artistic life. Six of them were presented last year. Moreover, the writer has planed an independent editorial initiative which is called Coleccin Bourel, and at the moment two of his works have been published: Mentres te alonxas and Trnsitos. A third book will be published pretty soon.
